2010 February Invited by Howard University Alumni Club of Greater Washington, DC during Black History Month to discuss the role of HBCUs in the 21st century. The topic discussed were the White House Initiative on HBCUs, are HBCUs still needed, critical issues facing HBCUs and the National Organization of College Parents, Inc. work with various alumni associations in Washington, DC

2010 March Attended the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters, Inc. 26th 2010 Communications Award Dinner in Washington, DC

2010 March Developed and implemented the Mid-Atlantic HBCU Alumni Associations Collaboration meeting, to develop a strategic planned approach to gain access to the many resources within the federal government. Held at Howard University Founders Library in Washington, DC

2010 April Attended and participated in the Howard University Alumni Association Black Male Initiative Week, Held in conjunction with Annual Gathering of the Coalition of Schools Educating Boys of Color. The topic was "The role of Alumni and Historically Black Colleges and Universities Reaching Out To Black Males." Held at Howard University Founders Library in Washington, DC
